You can access previous tips and keep up-to-date by "following" me on Twitter. Tip: When painting textured ceilings use a "split foam roller" which is intended for this purpose. A split foam roller is made of foam and has cuts around the circumference which allow the loose texture to migrate from the roller's surface. Ordinary rollers are not satisfactory for rolling unpainted popcorn texture, as the loose texture material collects on the surface of the roller.
